SAFETY AT MIRACLE CAMP

At Miracle Camp & Retreat Center, safety is one of our top priorities. As stewards of God’s children entrusted to our care, we take every measure to ensure their well-being, providing an environment where faith flourishes, friendships form, and memories are made—all while prioritizing safety above all else. Here’s some of the ways we do to make sure camp is safe for your child.

1. Trained Staff:

Our dedicated team undergoes training in CPR, first aid, emergency response, and child safety protocols. Each staff member is carefully vetted, ensuring they not only possess the necessary skills but also share our commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment.

2. Supervised Activities:

From outdoor adventures to indoor games, every activity is planned and supervised by trained staff and activity leaders. Whether it’s swimming, hiking, or crafting, campers are always under the watchful eye of responsible adults who prioritize their safety.

3. Safe Facilities:

Our camp facilities are regularly inspected to meet the highest safety standards. From bunkhouses to dining halls, we ensure that every area is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary safety features to prevent accidents and ensure comfort.

4. Health and Wellness:

We prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of our campers. Healthy meals are prepared with care, accommodating dietary needs and preferences. Each week of Summer Camp, we have a trained medical professional what acts as our health officer (who is on campus 24/7).

5. Inclusive Environment:

Our camp is a place where we strive to see every camper feel valued, respected, and included. We promote a culture of love, acceptance, and understanding, fostering friendships that transcend differences and contribute to a sense of belonging and security, all under the authority of the gospel.

Our team is committed to ongoing evaluation and improvement of what we do. Feedback from campers, parents, and staff is welcomed and taken seriously, helping us identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary changes to further enhance the safety and security of our camp community.
